About the event

Within Gestalt, we regard aggression as a contact phenomenon, which testifies

of our longing for contact and the difficulties we can face in doing so

experience.

The concept of aggression as a dynamic force in the field and in contact can be

be placed within the dimension or polarity of joining

versus moving away or seeking closeness versus distancing'

(Fleury 2009:289)

Aggression is the movement towards the other. Aggression 'with awareness' can

serve the meeting with the other. It is expressing feelings and

the associated desires or needs to which the other person can respond.

In this workshop, we investigate aggression as a contact style from the feminine point of view

perspective.

How do we women move on the polarity of distance and proximity? How off

I have my needs, how do I move forward and grab the space I need? How

am I supported to express my needs? And what happens to the not-in-contact

feelings and the associated interests or needs?
