Have you ever thought about how we define what works and what doesn't work in Gestalt therapy? One of the answers to this question can be given by conducting the research in psychotherapy practice. This workshop introduces useful research resources and presents actual research project to provide inspiration to Gestalt practitioners to continuously improve their practice. It demonstrates how a gestalt practice based on principles such as existential dialogue, phenomenology and field theory is responding to the need for evidence-based practice, and is keeping pace with the needs of a twenty-first century professional community.
Dr. Bojana Todorović,
Gestalt psychotherapist and psychologist, completed her Master's studies at the Department of Psychology at the University of Belgrade. In 2023, she defended her doctorate in Gestalt psychotherapy at the University of Malta and thus became the first Gestalt psychotherapist with this title in Serbia.
