About the event
A two day workshop (Saturday 10:00- 17:00 and Sunday 10:00- 17:00):
Bodywork in the context of Gestalt therapy is working with contact and the contact boundary. Through exercises and experiments, we will explore body awareness. We are going to use our bodies as an instrument for contact, it will give us information about the situation.
Barbara will use Bio-energetics (Lowen), stretching and relaxation. Felt sense by Gendlin and sensory awareness (Seymour Carter). We will do exercises about fin- ding an anchor in ourselves, Hara (Graf K.Durckhiem). And the concept of Anodea Judith helps us understand energy and how it flows.
If you are a Gestalt therapist or student and if you want to deepen your understan- ding of bodywork; And when you have questions like: What is the importance of bringing our clients to experience their bodies? How can I support my clients if they can’t find their way to their bodies? Then this workshop will bring you bodily expe- riences and creativity to find your answers.
The workshop is energetic and creative. It contributes to the development of your inner and physical 'grounding' and your presence of body and mind as it will do when you will practice this with your clients.
